"We're looking forward to getting started:" DEIF Academy opened in Denmark
Skive, 07 February 2025
Valuable hands-on energy management training is now closer to home for DEIF customers in Europe, the Near East, and Africa: On 6 February, CEO Christian Nielsen cut the green ribbon, officially opening the new Academy at DEIF's Danish headquarters.
"You have really made the most of a pretty bland room," remarked DEIF CEO Christian Nielsen with a smile as he prepared to cut the green ribbon and officially open the new Academy at the company's global headquarters in Skive, Denmark.
The room referred to by Mr Nielsen is now anything but bland. With great lighting and tasteful decor, the former office space now provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere – the perfect setting for valuable hands-on training. Here, users can get to know their DEIF devices in something that resembles real-life scenarios, but with zero risk of damage to equipment or property.

An exceptional training experience
"Thanks for joining us for the opening of this fantastic place," said Academy Manager Ulrik Hannesbo at the opening ceremony on 6 February. "This will become the heart of our global training concept which offers the same great training content all over the world."
The new Academy location primarily targets energy professionals from Europe, the Near East, and Africa, but the ambition is to provide an exceptional training experience for all DEIF customers, no matter where they are. DEIF already operates an Academy in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, USA, and more locations are being planned to accommodate DEIF customers in Asia and Oceania.
"This place will help us train people all over the world, and it will raise awareness of what's possible with modern energy management tools," said Christian Nielsen. And Ulrik Hannesbo added, "We're really looking forward to getting started!"
